Our little salon etiquette
A few pointers that make a trip to the dog groomer easier, safer and more relaxed for everyone – above all for your dog.
Walk your dog beforehand
A short, relaxed walk first: your dog can relieve themselves and burn off some energy – so there are no accidents on the grooming table.
On the lead into the salon
Please bring your dog into the salon on the lead – there may already be another dog there.
Brush regularly
Make combing and brushing at home a ritual. It strengthens your bond – and small knots get spotted before they turn into mats. You don't need to de-mat anything before the appointment, though; we'll do that.
Book in good time
Make an appointment before the coat gets the better of you – your dog will thank you for it.
One person is enough
Please have just one person bring the dog. The whole family in the salon means unnecessary excitement for your four-legged friend. Whether you stay during the grooming is something we decide individually – it's usually calmest with just the two of us. Do trust us.
Tell us about seasons in advance
If your bitch is in season the appointment still stands – please let us know beforehand so we can take it into account.
Parasites
If there are fleas or ticks we'll arrange a new appointment to protect our other clients' dogs. If we find parasites during grooming, we'll treat them properly straight away.
Arrive on time, cancel in good time
Please be on time for the appointment and for collection – every interruption means stress for the dog on the grooming table. If something comes up: cancel at least 48 hours in advance (this is also set out in our terms and conditions). Not turning up isn't an option – other clients often wait a long time for a slot.
That way we can look after your dog at our very best.
Your dog is guaranteed to feel fit & fein afterwards. We look forward to your visit!
