My salon
A place where your dog is allowed to feel at ease
The salon is set up so that your dog can relax and cannot come to any harm. The products are matched to canine skin and coat, and every tool is cleaned regularly and disinfected in the steriliser.
On a first visit I deliberately take my time: for a proper conversation with you – and so that your dog can get to know the salon in peace.
One thing up front: good grooming takes time. Depending on the state of the coat, your dog's size and how well they play along, it takes two hours, with large dogs sometimes three. Quality takes time – for your dog's sake.

Animals have shaped my whole working life: I trained as an animal keeper in 1983 and qualified as a master, then worked for many years at the animal shelter – including with the ‘difficult’ ones. In 2019 I completed my training as a dog groomer in Bremen. Appointments: 01590 6476005

Good to know
Do I need an appointment?
Yes – appointments are arranged by phone. That way every dog has the salon to itself and is groomed without any rush. Just give us a call: 01590 6476005.
How long does a salon visit take?
Quality takes time: depending on the state of the coat, your dog's size and how well they play along, grooming takes up to two hours, with large dogs sometimes three.
How do I prepare my dog?
Take a relaxed walk before the appointment so your dog can relieve themselves and burn off some energy. Please keep them on the lead inside the salon. You don't need to brush out any mats beforehand – we'll take care of that.
Can I stay during the grooming?
We decide that together, case by case. Most dogs are calmer when it's just the two of us. Please bring your dog on your own if you can – the whole family in the salon means unnecessary excitement.
What about seasons or parasites?
If your bitch is in season the appointment still stands – please let us know beforehand. If there are parasites, we'll arrange a new appointment to protect the other dogs.
What applies to cancellations?
If something comes up, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance – that way the slot can go to another dog. More on this under Salon etiquette.
